Winter Storms Are Coming Early

It is the beginning of November and we are already seeing our first winter storm come into effect! With winter storms comes rain and strong wind which can leave your landscape needing help. Some ways you can prevent a larger mess are by controlling your sprinkler timers so there is not more excess or wasted water, cleaning up the leaves around your tree base, and most importantly pruning your trees. 

Pruning your trees at this time can first of all save you lots of work in the future with fallen branches and leaves and also save you from having large dead limbs fall onto the wrong places. If your tree is seemingly too thick with branches or there are quite a few dead branches or limbs then it is a good sign you need to prune the tree. Pruning before the leaves fall can also allow the arborist to better see the dead branches and limbs which is crucial to a good cleaning.
